Andrew Solovey, originally from Detroit, Michigan, graduated with his bachelors degree from Michigan State University, a Masters degree in Human Relations from the Merrill Palmer Institute, and a Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University. Andy was the Associate Director for Clinical Services at a large mental health center based in Chillicothe for 26 years, retiring from that agency in 2010. Andy has been interested in brief, effective therapy methods for many years.  He has coauthored several books, the most recent of which is Second-Order Change in Psychotherapy. Among other professional endeavors, Andy maintains a counseling caseload at this time, serving as an independent contractor at a counseling practice in Dublin.

 

When he is not doing counseling, Andy enjoys golf and singing.
